GeM is the Government of India's online marketplace (gem.gov.in) where central and state government ministries, departments, PSUs and other public bodies buy goods and services. Sellers register, list products or services in categories, and take part in direct purchases, bids and reverse auctions. Orders, delivery acceptance and payment tracking all run through the portal.
