What Catalogue means in a GeM tender

Definition

A GeM catalogue is a seller's listing of a product or service in a category, with its specification, brand/model, price, stock and delivery locations. Direct purchases and L1 purchases are made from catalogues, and your catalogue categories decide which bids you can see and join. Catalogues have validity periods and must be kept updated.

In simple words

Catalogue aapki GeM wali 'dukaan ki shelf' hai — jo yahan nahi, woh bik nahi sakta.
