Past performance

What Past performance means in a GeM tender

Definition

Past performance is a bid condition asking the seller (or OEM) to show it has already supplied the same or similar items to government or other buyers — usually a minimum share of the bid quantity in one of the preceding years. It is proved with contract copies and invoices. MSEs and startups may be exempted where the bid says so.

In simple words

Past performance = 'pehle bhi itna maal kahin diya hai?' ka saboot.
