OEM authorisation is the permission a manufacturer gives a reseller to sell its product. On GeM, resellers usually need it before they can list an OEM's products, and many bids ask for a bid-specific authorisation letter from the OEM as well. Check the format, validity and whether it must name the bid number, as these vary by bid.
