Definition
The OEM is the company that manufactures the product or owns its brand. On GeM, OEMs list their brands and models, and resellers can offer those products with the OEM's authorisation. Some categories also require the OEM to complete vendor assessment. In bids, conditions such as OEM turnover, OEM experience or OEM authorisation are set by the buyer.
