Definition
Technical evaluation is the first stage after a GeM bid closes: the buyer checks each seller's eligibility, uploaded documents and compliance with the specification and ATC. Sellers who fail are disqualified and their prices are not considered. Only technically qualified sellers move to financial evaluation or reverse auction. Results and reasons are shown on the portal.
