Pre-bid meeting

What Pre-bid meeting means in a GeM tender

Definition

Some bids include a pre-bid meeting or conference, held before the end date, where prospective sellers can ask the buyer questions about the scope, specification or terms. Clarifications that change the bid are issued as a corrigendum. If a bid has a pre-bid date, send your questions before it — it is the cheapest way to fix a restrictive or unclear condition.

In simple words

Pre-bid meeting = tender band hone se pehle officer se sawaal poochne ka mauka.
