Mission

Make public procurement work for small sellers

GeM (Government e-Marketplace) is the Government of India's online public procurement portal, used by central and state government departments, PSUs and other public bodies to buy goods and services.

Government policy gives micro and small enterprises certain preferences in public procurement, such as EMD exemption for eligible sellers. But finding the right bid, reading its conditions and arranging funds still needs time and expertise most small businesses do not have. Mitra packages that expertise into a simple, affordable product in English, Hinglish and Hindi.

The problem

01

Tenders are easy to miss

New bids appear every day across thousands of product and service categories, ministries and states. Small sellers without a bid team rarely see the right ones in time.

02

Bids get rejected on eligibility

Turnover, past experience, OEM authorisation and document requirements sit inside long bid PDFs. Sellers often find out they did not qualify only after investing time in a bid.

03

Winning is not the end

Executing a government order needs working capital, and many bids and contracts ask for EMD or performance security. Small sellers often struggle to arrange these quickly.

The solution: one place from discovery to delivery

Illustrations of product features with sample data — not screenshots of customer accounts.

Discover

Every live GeM bid, searchable

Category, state, ministry and keyword pages, refreshed through the day, with WhatsApp and email alerts.

Qualify

Eligibility before effort

Turnover, experience, MSE / startup relaxation and the documents checklist pulled out of the bid, compared with the seller's profile.

Bid

Ask the tender, keep documents ready

AI answers questions about a bid document; a documents vault tracks GST, Udyam and certificates with expiry reminders.

Learn & grow

Results, directory and finance

Award results show who won and at what price; a free supplier directory brings buyer enquiries; tender finance connects sellers with lending partners.
